Services

Floor Systems Built Around Your Facility

Eastern Epoxy Flooring installs seamless floor systems for businesses that need floors to perform and can't afford long shutdowns. We handle each project from concrete prep through the final coat, and we can schedule work around your operating hours. From a single storefront to a large facility, you get one accountable contractor for the whole floor.

Commercial Polished Concrete

Retire the VCT for good. We remove worn vinyl tile and adhesive, repair the slab, then diamond grind and polish it into a dense, bright, low-maintenance floor. There's no stripping and no waxing. It's ideal for grocery stores, retail and big-box stores, and showrooms.

Industrial Epoxy and Polyaspartic Floor Systems

Seamless resinous floors for warehouses, shops and production spaces. An epoxy base bonds to properly ground concrete, and a polyaspartic topcoat adds a fast-curing, UV-stable, abrasion-resistant finish. Finishes include decorative flake and solid color.

High-End Residential Floors

Industrial-grade performance with residential style. Full-broadcast flake floors with a polyaspartic topcoat for garages, basements, workshops and lake homes. (Details below.)

Concrete Prep and Repair (included with every system)

Diamond grinding, crack and joint repair, and patching, so the coating bonds to the slab instead of sitting on it.

Our Process

How We Work

1. Site visit and assessment. We walk the space, check the slab and existing flooring, and learn how your floor is used.

2. System recommendation. We match polished concrete or an epoxy and polyaspartic system to your traffic, your exposure and your schedule.

3. Scheduling around you. We plan the work in phases or around your hours to limit downtime.

4. Surface preparation. We remove old flooring, diamond grind and repair cracks and joints.

5. Installation. We polish the concrete or install the coating system layer by layer.

6. Final walkthrough. We review the finished floor with you and go over care and maintenance.

Residential

Industrial-Grade Performance, Residential Style

We bring the durability of our industrial systems home, finished to match the style of your house. Our full-broadcast flake floors have an epoxy or polyurea base, decorative flake in the color blend you choose, and a clear polyaspartic topcoat. They're built for hot tires, road salt, snowmelt, chemicals and New England freeze-thaw cycles.

Ideal for luxury and collector garages, basements and mudrooms, workshops, and lake houses and seasonal homes.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work outside New England?

Yes. We have a location in Charleston, SC, and we travel for large projects.

Can you work around our business hours?

Yes. We can phase the work or schedule around your operating hours to limit disruption. Ask us during your site visit.

Polished concrete or epoxy: which is right for us?

Polished concrete suits retail, grocery and warehouse floors where low maintenance matters most. Epoxy and polyaspartic systems suit spaces that need color, a seamless finish or extra protection from spills and wear. We'll recommend the right fit after a site visit.

Can you polish the concrete under our old VCT?

In most cases, yes. We remove the tile and adhesive, then evaluate and repair the slab before polishing.

What's the difference between epoxy, polyaspartic and flake?

Epoxy and polyaspartic are coatings. Epoxy is usually the base, and polyaspartic is a fast-curing, UV-stable topcoat. Flake is a decorative broadcast added between the layers for color and texture.

How long will the project take?

It depends on the size of the space, the condition of the slab and the system you choose. We'll give you a timeline with your quote.
